s the name suggests these plants provide oxygen in the water in daylight hours, but then release carbon dioxide at night. Do not use too many of this type of plant in the pond or it will become unbalanced. They are essential plants to use if you have a pond stocked with fish. They assist in maintaining water clarity
This type of water plant is normally submersed and must always have water at their roots. Some varieties can also grow floating under water without roots, such as in aquariums. They are important for assisting with keeping algae under control and for providing protective cover for spawning of pond fish and frogs and tadpoles.
These plants are sold in 75mm pots with well grown roots ready to plant directly in your water garden or to repot into a larger container to put in your pond. All plants come with planting instructions.
